A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR

When brain chemistry is out of alignment, certain biochemical imbalances manifest in the brain which adversely affect our bodies and emotions, induce unwanted behaviors and give rise to challenging mental afflictions.

I contend that brain chemistry imbalances come to be when a brain functions at different energetic frequencies than the so-called normal brain. When these differences are extreme they are considered mental disorders. These disorders have been assigned specific names - autistic, panic, obsessive compulsive, bipolar - to name a few. No matter what the designated nomenclature, I believe it is important to go past the labels and embrace the idea that the brain is a physical entity that can be healed. I know this because I used my own body as a testing ground to discover the means to end a punishing thirty-six year battle with several brain chemistry disorders that are considered by most to be incurable.

When traditional treatments prove to be limiting, fear and hopelessness often prevail. Many, in an effort to move toward a more complete understanding of their emotional/mental/physical challenges have turned to alternative healing modalities. Others make great headway incorporating the best that both approaches have to offer, while some of us have been able to completely heal our brain chemistries without the use of medications.

It is my hope that what I have learned will help others liberate themselves and discover the wondrous world that exists beyond the trials and tribulations of the biochemically afflicted brain.
